Tip: Master the throttle — release briefly before a crest, then reapply as you go over to keep your speed chain alive.

What Is StonkRider?

StonkRider blends motocross action with real financial candlestick charts. You pick a stock, hop onto a dirt bike, and ride up and down the market's price movements — all while trying to keep the rubber side down.

Every candlestick creates a unique obstacle: the wick becomes a launch ramp, the body turns into a flat platform, and the space between candles forms a gap you need to clear. Markets with higher volatility produce rougher, more challenging tracks.

How StonkRider Works

Your bike moves across a candlestick chart where the terrain mirrors actual market prices. Open, high, low, and close values define every hill and drop. You steer with throttle, brake, and body lean to survive the ride.

A fresh chart appears each day as the global course — everyone rides the same track, competing for the top spot on the leaderboard. Outside of the daily challenge, you can freely explore any ticker and time frame you like.

Tips & Scoring

  • Air tricks — Popping off a candle wick lets you tilt in midair. Each full spin you land cleanly adds a bonus multiplier to your run.
  • Keep your speed — Ease off the gas just before reaching a crest, then hit it again on the way down. This stops your bike from flipping forward.
  • Pick your timeframe — Short-term charts (3M) jump around a lot and need fast reactions. Long-term charts (ALL) are gentler but test your endurance.
  • After a crash — Wait for the bike to settle before touching the throttle. Jumping back in too quickly usually ends in another wipeout.
